Welcome to my homepage...

Hello, My name is Bruce A. Scott and this is my personal web page.
A little about myself; I am married with 2 children and live in Jacksonville, Florida. I am a full time Captain/Paramedic for the City of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. I have been a firefighter since 1982, Six years as a volunteer and the rest as paid civil service full time. Also a proud member of IAFF local 122 .

I also moderate/own the jaxfirerescue email list, consisting of JFRD members only. If you want more information about the mailing list, feel free to email me.

Visit jfrd.com for information about the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department..

You will find several links to more of my pages.. most are self explanatory but some are a surprise. I am always open for feedback, suggestions and input. Flames are cheerfully returned to sender though.

In the event you need to contact me, I am easily reached. Via Yahoo Messenger, screen name jaxfirerescue, I also check my e-mail daily. Feel free to mail me at

Edward F. Crocker -

"I HAVE NO AMBITION IN THIS WORLD BUT ONE, AND THAT IS TO BE A FIREMAN. THE POSITON MAY, IN THE EYES OF SOME, APPEAR TO BE A LOWLY ONE; BUT WE WHO KNOW THE WORK WHICH A FIREMAN HAS TO DO BELIEVE HIS IS A NOBLE CALLING. OUR PROUDEST MOMENT IS TO SAVE LIVES. UNDER THE IMPULSE OF SUCH THOUGHTS THE NOBILITY OF THE OCCUPATION THRILLS US AND STIMULATES US TO DEEDS OF DARING, EVEN OF SUPREME SACRIFICE.
